Carole Pavlo titled this exhibition herself, based on a proposal she had prepared but did not live to see realized. Curated by MacArthur Fellow and cultural theorist Dr. Amalia Mesa-Bains alongside Angelica Muro, Chair of CSUMB's Visual and Public Arts Department, the show brought together representational and abstract paintings, clayboard etchings, and sculpture in marble and bronze — a body of work Mesa-Bains described as illuminating the human condition from a multidisciplinary perspective, "accomplished... miraculously while facing the most extreme health challenges throughout her career."
